Days continue to pass...

...and I have not continued to post.
The days have been full with the approach of a good many upcoming Spring Exhibitions including Savannah, Stillmore, Atlanta and possibly Louiseville.
Tonight the StillmoreRoots will speaking at the Sentient Bean in Savannah, Georgia at 6:30 on Art in the Woods. Please join us for the discussion which is free and open to the public. As some of you familiar with my installation work may know, it is primarily concerned with the experience, so there will be no images posted regarding the upcoming exhibitions until well after the show has passed.
Lets hope that skies remain blue and a gentle breeze continues to drift through those pines of Stillmore, Georgia.

Walking the road to the pond in Stillmore last Sunday, I passed a section of the farm that holds plenty of memories.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President...or that we are to stand by the President right or wrong...is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."

...following akward, winding paths from frail limbs to the earth below.
Two new bodies of work have just been posted to Desmundo. "Explorations in Beauty" and "Abstractions." More work is en route. Speaking of more work en route....I am currently working on an installation, titled: Preservation of the State/ State of Preservation and for this work I need to collect a few items. Although they would be relativly easy to come by through the consumer shopping experience...I have something else in mind. A collaboration of sorts, a simple request, from me to you. I hope to find individuals who may have these items and be willing to donate them for the creative act.
The items I am searching out include:
American Flag (pref. cotton, although any type of fabric will do)
An authentic looking copy of the Decleration of Independence
An authentic looking copy of the U.S. Constitution
An authentic looking copy of the Bill of Rights
If any one out there might have one of these items and be willing to part with it, please contact me:
