Maggie.jpg

Maggie was a great dog, friend, and companion.
She will be missed by all those that knew her.
Maggie was a familiar face at any gathering in our area.
Whether it be Art in the Woods, the Stillmore Christmas
Parade, or a fremily get together....Maggie was there
with a smile on her face and her 'happy meter' wagging
just as hard as it could go.

Maggie was such a wonderful country dog. We all loved her. Dennis really had a special place for Maggie and Maggie had a special place for Dennis. She really loved him and was always so excited to see him come and so sad to see him leave. I'm glad that Dennis was able to see her today before she passed. It was important to him and it was nice for Maggie that he was there. She loved her family and was always very protective of them. I can remember one trip to the country that we had Lauren's boyfriend with us and Maggie was not even going to let him out of the car until she knew it was alright with us. And you are so right Desmal, she loved being with us at all the different festivities. I feel that Maggie lived a happy life and knew that she was a loved pup! She will be truly missed!

Maggie had a great life in the country. She was free to run and play and was always surrounded by people who loved her. She can now rest peacefully in dog heaven with all the other dogs we have lost along the years. Maggie, we will miss you, tell Missy and Scooter hi for me :)

Maggie...always meeting me at the back porch screen door for treats...she was "queen" of the driveway...she was meant to be right where she was....at granny's and pa's...she would not have it any other way.....I always felt safe when Maggie was with me...Granny and I went fishing one evening last month...we rode the golf cart to the pond with Maggie and Toby...I was so glad that Maggie came because I was on the look out for BEAR sightings!!Yes...Granny did not know this at the time...but...ever since Patti saw one...I have always had the feeling we would see one again and I felt it really, really strong that day..in fact...when we were fishing I was constantly turning my head...and there was Maggie ... our ever present watchdog!! I was very happy to hear Granny say..."they are not biting..are you ready to go?"!!! Y E S!!! Come on Maggie....she ran beside us on the way back to the house and Toby sat with us in the Golf Cart...Maggie was my comfort in my worried moments!! (lo and behold 2 days later Granny and Maggie saw the bear cub!)Her presence will be missed with an empty feeling when we pull up to Granny's driveway..Our hearts are broken.. peace n'love Maggie, Jairus & Vernon
