The Stones Collaboration is still in full swing. Stones are still arriving, both by post and showing up on my front porch, so if you have the desire to participate it is certainly not to late.

Only minutes ago, in the backyard, we sat and watched the Earth' shadow crawl slowly across the surface of the moon. The color of the moon shifting from an light cream color, to a deep yellow, and then to a translucent red oxide. The display was beautiful. Afterwards the telescope was aimed at Saturn. Seeing the rings of Saturn was an awesome experience. The sphere surrounded by rings, the negative space between the two objects...beautiful. I hope you all got a chance to view the eclipse unfolding. We have an hour before we see the Moon begin to crawl out of the Earths shadow, once again brightly lighting the night.
Tonight is the night for another Second Saturday event in Downtown Swainsboro. Come out and show your support for the arts. The event runs from 5-8 pm with live music afterwards. Plus, Desmundogallery.com has put up the door prize for tonight's Gallery Stroll. I hope to see you there.
