Constantly digging; in the dirt, into history, and following my roots.
I have recently uncovered images Canady family figures. One, my great great grandfather, Mose Canady, his wife, Amanda and our extended family. The other, a photo of my great uncle Daniel Canady, son of Mose Canady, and brother of Desmal Canady (my great grandfather.) The images were made in Stillmore,Georgia...a landscape where my roots run deep.

Mose Canady and Amanda Edenfield Canady at family reunion. On the farm. 1915. This image was produced by R. H. Hicks Studio. Swainsboro, Georgia.

Daniel Asbury Canady and Emma Griffin Canady. Stillmore, Georgia. 1920. The home burned in 1936.

Information obtained through the Georgia Archives.
