"Slow and Low that is the Tempo"

Happy Mothers Day to everyone- without mothers, where would we be? Most likely not here would be one safe assumption. Thank you, Moms of the world, for helping to shape the future of our species, our planet, and our lives.

As far as other happenings go, things are bumping right along. Swainsboro recently celebrated it's 61st Annual Pine Tree Festival(the Roots marched in the parade in honor of the Emanuel Artists Guild and The Emanuel Arts Council), the Roots have been moving along with our ArtCore programs, Glennville just celebrated it's Sweet Onion Festival, The StillmoreRoots First Annual ArtCore Benefit Crouquet Tourney just took place (I would like to thank all of my sponsors, with your support I was able to bring home the gold!) and we recently were able to witness the passing of the Space Station in a short but very sweet journey across the night sky!
I have included some photos of the some of the festivities below.
