Another year in the making.

June

another year in the making today, May 1. A wonderful weekend with family and friends at the pond in Stillmore, Georgia. The weather was great and the company even better. The wildflower field that was started 4 years ago is now self suffiecient. This year, no seeds were planted and the field is already a pink wave flowing over the earth with the next set of flowers (yellow) preparing to bloom. As the months go by, the fields color and height will be in constant flux. First the low growing pinks, then, as summer progresses, the height of the field will increase and the colors will become much warmer. This year, I am going to try and post pics of the field in flux. Now, I wonder what adventures await me as the summer quickly approaches. Will travels take me to adventure abroad? Will the continental U. S. pull me across it's wide, rapidly developing landscape? Already, there are art exhibitions planned, white water rafting around the corner, and a few kayak expidetions in the making. Any travel would be great, but then again, so would simply watching the colors of the wildflower field shift as the days go by. As with everyday that passes, I wish for the world to drop it's pursuit of blind financial gain, and shift towards the action of finding peace...and balance.
Gold is nothing more than a metal (Au/ atomic number 79) and dollars are merely paper- but lives, happiness, and peace- they are things much more complex, and things that will one day be held in much greater value...peace.
