we lay asphalt over earth and refer to it as development
when it sounds so close to destruction- hot asphalt, covering the soil, preventing growth, blocking out the rain, letting the wind gather speed, destroying habitat.
Don't we have enough development? Should we cut down oaks that are hundreds of years old to build more shopping centers? Why must we continue to destroy? To kill? We all have the power to create change, to promote peace...and balance. New land is not being created...eventually we will run out if we continue to 'develop.' What then, are we thinking about the world we leave our children, our grandchildren, our great grandchildren? Money is nothing more than an idea...yet we base our lives around it.
Money cannot save us...it can only divide and destroy us. We have the power to create change...
Our civilization is dividing us...by class, by race, by region, by culture, by religion, by education....we are all the same....homo sapien. the division causes harm, it creates struggle, greed, want, and desire...and it these very notions that fuel the system. The system is flawed.
Spend time with people, share with them, learn from them...we are all here together...
